Aims & Scopes  

International Forum of Psychoanalysis (IFP)  is a peer-reviewed journal published under the auspices of the International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies (IFPS). In accordance with the objectives of this organisation, International Forum of Psychoanalysis is open to all new and creative contributions to the development of psychoanalysis. Papers presented at conferences and workshops arranged by IFPS will be considered for publication with high priority. 

The journal especially promotes articles demonstrating clinical experience and interest in revising or expanding psychoanalytic theory. Special efforts are made to give equal space to experience in the female and male voice.

ENCUENTRO INTER REGIONAL DE AMERICA (IFPS)
Febrero 2017:
Una exitosa reunión tuvo lugar en la Habana Cuba
 
Hemos trabajado sobre el tema "Las nuevas caras del miedo", en línea con el próximo Foro de Florencia. Fue un trabajo duro, pero muy estimulante en términos de fortalecer los lazos con colegas y los vínculos con nuestra Federación. Asistieron colegas estadounidenses (1 de Alanson White y varios de NPAP), de México. Brasil y Chile, así como colegas cubanos. En un clima de fraternidad y reflexión conjunta, se generaron desarrollos psicoanalíticos muy interesantes y profundos. Los temores y amenazas que enfrenta nuestra sociedad, como síntomas del conflicto social, fueron profundamente analizados. En nuestra reunión se discutieron temas como la violencia social, el racismo, la locura y la desigualdad económica.
